Robert Broussard, Agency Owner
Robert Broussard, Jr. has been in the insurance business all his life. He grew up witnessing his father's evolving insurance agency, serving his client's needs for over 30 years. As Robert grew older, he volunteered in his father's office, and he came to respect the insurance business.
In 2006, Robert earned his Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Dillard University - New Orleans. After earning his degree, Robert relocated to Philadelphia and worked for AIG Home Loan as a Loan Officer. During his time at AIG, Robert experienced the real estate crisis and an influx of mortgage loan interest rates. It was during this crisis that Robert realized he wanted to build his career in the insurance industry. In 2008, Robert moved back to Louisiana and obtained his Insurance Producers license; and started working for his father's agency, Bob Broussard All State Insurance Agency. In July 2011 Robert opened, the Robert Broussard Insurance Agency and in 2013 he changed the business name to the Greater Louisiana Insurance Agency.
When Robert decided upon this career path, his mother told him, "You need to like what you are doing so much you would do it for free, and the money will soon come." He took his mother's advice, and every day, he is excited to help people secure insurance. Robert enjoys learning about his clients, and he enjoys finding new ways to help people with their insurance needs. As the owner of the Greater Louisiana Insurance Group, Robert brings his knowledge and experience of the industry to clients who seek property and casualty, life, renters, and other types of insurance.
Robert personally attends to the immediate insurance needs of his clients, and has built his agency on the motto of "Service after the Sale."
Robert is an active member of the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) organization and the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce. His favorite book is How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.
